As you may be aware, the Cyber Security team have commenced the roll-out of a new security feature, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) that will add more security to your user account via an extra verification step to make sure that you are who you say you are.
All staff are invited to register for MFA and start using a.s.a.p. at their convenience.
Please note: anyone not registered by 30 September will be regularly prompted to register by the system for 14 days, after it will be mandatory before proceeding with logon. Please register in advance to avoid disruption, particularly if you plan to travel abroad as it is not possible to register from abroad. If you are currently abroad and not returning before the 30th September, please contact the Service Desk for assistance a.s.a.p.
Once registered, your account will be MFA-enabled and protected the following day and thereafter, to protect University data, you will no longer be able to use your native email client on your phone or tablet to access Roehampton emails.
You are therefore advised to set-up and use one of the following means of access to Roehampton emails before registering for MFA:
